We stayed in the waterfront district of Nordhavn, tucked away from the city yet next to local favourites such as Atelier September and La Cabra. Our apartment in The Granary, designed by Line Rohde Hindsgaul and Christine Rudolph, was a welcome haven to retreat to at the end of each day.
Our mornings started here, with some of the best coffees we found in the city — not to mention the A.S. breakfast plate, which we quickly fell in love with.

Beyond some of the larger brands exhibiting at 3days, we were inspired by smaller activations, talks and curated exhibitions.
Our first stop was FRAMA's Mechanics of Scent, an immersive exhibition at their studio store in Frederiksstaden. Antipodean brand BAINA's Practice of Bathing was another highlight for our team — a well-rounded and thoughtful celebration of the brand that made you want to linger. Claire Delmar's Latitude brought together a curated selection of Australian designers in a gallery-like exhibition.

Tadaima's Soft Monuments showcased contemporary artists, designers and collectible works. We loved the light, airy nature of the space. Meanwhile, Galleri Sonja presented Connected: A Dialogue Between Nature and Craft — draped, raw-edged fabrics, ceramics and glass objects caught our eye here. A mix of materials ran through these spaces, with stainless steel and glass each finding their moment.

Tekla is a noted highlight of 3days each year, and this year The Heart of Living explored the craft and tradition of patchwork quilts. Housed in Charlottenborg Palace, the architecture of the space was a draw in itself.
Tempus by Portuguese brand De La Espada felt especially relevant to us; the exhibition explored how generational woodworking techniques allow design to endure beyond trends. We also adored Maniberg's A House of Contrast, tucked inside a vibrant Copenhagen courtyard.

Collaboration ran as a strong thread throughout the week. A lovely example being Astrid Textiles and Brandt Copenhagen joining together with A Tactile Dialogue. Soft fabrics across drapery and upholstery presented alongside Danish hardware crafted from solid brass, wood, leather and horn. Designs of the Time's Azimuth collection was a moment for colour and texture, rich and considered in equal measure.
Across upholstery, texture led the way. Bouclé, sheepskin and shearling, brushed wools and chunky, hand-feel weaves made a strong appearance, alongside softly napped velvets and looped, undyed naturals.

New Works' Meditations in an Emergency captured us with its sound, atmosphere and sensory experience, finishing in the lovely residence gardens. Ferm Living celebrated their 20th anniversary, hosting Form of Life at their Copenhagen headquarters in the Holmen district.

On a slower Saturday following 3daysofdesign, we made our way across the canal to visit Noma Projects and Copenhagen Contemporary, followed by a bite to eat at Lillie Bakery.
The morning at Noma was perhaps our most treasured moment of the trip. We enjoyed a Noma tea, explored the Noma gardens and watched a single swan glide between the tussocks in the lake — so dreamy.

Our final dinner in Copenhagen took us to Osteria 16 for a set menu of simple Italian antipasti dishes. Perched at the window bar, it was a lovely spot to reflect on our special week in Copenhagen together.
