The lacquer finish on your furniture forms a durable surface, offering years of protection against dirt, dust and moisture. We use a commercial grade 2 pack lacquer system which is the most durable option available.
With thoughtful care, solid timber only grows more beautiful, and more elegant, with time.

DAILY CARE
Wipe your furniture with a clean, damp microfibre cloth, then dry immediately with a soft cloth. Always follow the direction of the grain, never wipe across it.
EVERYDAY USE & SPILLS
Attend to spills quickly, wiping in the direction of the grain. Use placemats and coasters to protect the timber surface, and take care with objects that could scratch or mark it.
PLACEMENT
Avoid leaving furniture in direct sunlight or beneath air conditioning units for extended periods, as this can cause excessive movement in the timber — leading to delamination or cracking over time.

As your timber ages, its colour will mellow and deepen. A natural process driven by oxidation of the timber and finish, along with exposure to UV light. Each shift a quiet mark of honesty in the material itself.
With careful care, your solid timber furniture will become more elegant over time, developing a natural patina.
